SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MASTERS DEGREES IN HUMAN RIGHTS 2009/2010 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX, ENGLAND

The Open Society Foundation, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the University of Essex invite applications for the above scholarships at the Centre for Human Rights. Applicants will be expected to be both nationals of and resident in Indonesia and not have already received or be currently receiving financial benefit from a previous HMG Funded Scholarship.
Applicants should have outstanding relevant academic qualifications and good English. Each scholarship provides one year’s tuition fees at the University of Essex, a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only), and return air travel from the scholar’s home country. On completion of the scholarship, scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their studies or work there.

Employees, employee's relatives (or former employees who have left employment less than 2 years before) of FCO (including FCO Posts), the British Council, the Educational Advising Centers or other OSI-NSP representations in the region and the participating Universities will not be eligible to apply for these awards.
